Q: Work and live as an Swedish citizen

Hey. Im from sweden and my girlfriend lives in USA, VA. We have been in a long distance relationship for over a year and we want to move togther when she starts in college in a few years. We want to live in cleveland, ohio because I want to tryout for a soccer team there (if I have time to play and if its possible at all) and she wants to go to college in ohio. Im studying to become an electrician so thats what I want to work with there. So I want to know if its possible. Ive heard that its really hard to move to the US. But I guess it must be possible. If it is, how does it work to get a job there as a Swedish citizen?
