Q: can you move out at the age of 17 in rhode island

my girlfriend is trying to move out of an abusive home and move in with me, she just wants to be away from her mom who constantly belittling everything she does and treating her like absolute garbage while her mothers "boyfriend" screams and yells at her about what a useless drama queen she is and how she does nothing. she does everything shes asked and if she messes one small thing up its WWIII in that house
