Q: I want to modify child support, but scared cause I don't want my support to go down do you think I should.

I want to change support because there father is asking for better clothes for the girls when they visit him I send summertime clothes because I buy school clothes along with everything else he bought 1short and pants for both of them not all the time he gets clothes from his new girlfriends kids who are around the same age as our kids but again not a lot since his new girlfriend. he lives with her and he works been at his job 10 years mine 5years, the order was in 2009 and I haven't changed it but since he wants me to supply better clothes I think he should help along with school supplies I only get 469monthly I am very thankful I know some people get 50 dollars, I suggested the girls leave my house only with the clothes they have on and he supply for them while there out their in LA, I live in hemet he didn't want to do that. Times are getting harder and I am full time at my job to but I don't make that much 2008 a month, do you think my support would go down if I tried to modify it.

A: To answer your question I would need to be able to do a full child support calculation, using your current pay stubs and last three years tax returns. There may be additional information that I would need. You can reach me at (916) 541-0047. My office is located at 9521 Folsom Boulevard, Sacramento, California.
