Woonsocket, RI asked in Communications Law, Contracts and Internet Law for Rhode Island

Q: Hi, my husband hired someone a couple of years ago to help with developing a website and purchasing a domain name.

No contract was signed. He now wants the rights given to someone else to handle. This person renewed the website, has host responsibilities, removed three people as administrators to the website and is now deleting the new webmaster's work. This is hindering my husband's business. Can you please tell me what can be done to stop this person for doing anymore damage? Restraining Order?
