Kennewick, WA asked in Immigration Law for Washington

Q: I have some questions regarding the best and the quickest process to bring my wife here in the USA I

got married few months ago and my wife currently living in Bangladesh. I’ve recently submitted I-130 for her. Since I submitted I-130 already, I guess I don’t have option to submit I-129F (K-1 visa) for here which could have been faster. As I understand that I can still submit I-129f (K-3 visa) for her while I-130 is being pending approval. But based on my research, I found that it may take also the same amount of time. In this circumstance what options do I have - submit I-129F (K-3) visa or wait for I-130 approve by the USCIS. Which process would be faster and what would be approximate time frame for that. And If need legal assistance from you since and submitting and preparing documents/form to USCIS and other agencies how does would work and proximate costs for such services

A: Hello,

What is your immigration status? I am assuming you are a U.S. Citizen based on the facts you have provided on your question. For a K-3 visa you would need an attorney to make the case stronger so your spouse's K3 gets approved. K3 processing times abroad will be shorter than K3 processing times in the U.S. Please talk to an immigration attorney in private as we are not allowed to discuss the prices in this forum. If you would like a free consultation feel free to contact my office (323-803-7147).

All the best.
