Q: My wife and i were previously married and she decided she wanted out. I gave her everything and walked away.

after 4 years she comes to me asking me for help, she had mental issues. I jump in both feet do everything asked to help her. she then says we need to get married so she could use my benefits and stay off work. We get married, she gets medication dialed in and starts telling me she wants to make my life dream come true and buy me a porsche gt4. I drag my feet for a year, and she calls dealership sets up appointment to order porsche. We go and order the car, a month later she gets letter stating she never needed my benefits afterall, and things change. She startts being emotionally abusive towards me and when i would not take it, things staeamroll into us splitting up. She now wants to take my car back, and stop making the payments and make a fool of me to everyone i know. Do i have a legal right to my car. she even told 2 porsche salesguys how i saved her life and she was buying it for me, and at least another half dozen people the car was for me for what i did for her.

A: In whose name is the title of the car? If it's in your name, it's your property. In a community property division if a divorce is filed, you may be able to argue it's your separate property as it was gifted to you. More details are necessary to provide a professional analysis of your issue. The best first step is an Initial Consultation with an Attorney.
