A: This is an adoption question (which is in the probate court) rather than a family law question. However, if you want to object to the home study you will want to discuss your options with an experienced adoption attorney. The court's utilize home studies in each adoption and they rely heavily on the findings of the study when making their decisions.

It is in your best interest to consult with an experienced adoption attorney who practices in the courthouse wherein your matter will be heard.

I hope the above answer is helpful.

Good luck to you.
