Asked in Consumer Law and Products Liability for Kentucky

Q: What is my best course or grounds for action against ford dealer for enndangering my wife and I due to shoddy work done

We took car in for warranty covered repair of transmission. When we got the car back and drove home it was steering and handeling horribly. Upon my own inspection i found that the drivers side axle nut had only one half turn holding the wheel onto the axel. I took pictures and contacted dealership personel immediately upon noticing the issue at hand. They have taken the car back for review and repair.

A: For now, they should do the repairs for free. I don't see a legal claim--you can only make a claim for what did happen, not what could have happened.
