Q: What's my next step - I am disputing a charge on my credit card and the credit card company is saying it's valid.

A: Without knowing more, I would recommend contacting your credit card company to find out how to appeal the decision. Also, ask why they are considering the charges valid. Make sure you keep thorough notes concerning your communications with the company, including dates and times of calls, and names of the persons with whom you discussed the issue. If they continue to deny your disputed claim, you may want to contact an experienced consumer protection attorney.
