Q: What ever happened to Justice? Why must we sue nurses in NYS to get Justice? Especially when you can't afford a lawyer?
Nurses filed false police statements. Man arrested without miranda, taken to bank robbery, place in holding cell without knowing why for several hours, then placed in county jail. Unable to afford a good attorney, force to plead guilty to no wrong doing, and unable to go home until 12/2019. No evidence was ever heard, and nurses get away with perjury, slander, endangering the welfare of patient, and hindering an investigation. Police refused to speak with spouse or look at further evidence because of plea, and claim they don't do slander. Agree there is a case and to sue
Agency.
A: You have the right to represent yourself. Otherwise, you might try to find a lawyer to take your case pro bono or find a non-profit legal services agency willing to help. The best first step is an Initial Consultation with an Attorney.
