Citrus Heights, CA asked in Health Care Law for California

Q: I am looking for an attorney to handle patient rights violations against Heritage Oaks hospital in Sacramento

I am looking for an attorney to handle patient rights violations against Heritage Oaks hospital in Sacramento. I believe my son was placed on a 72 hour hold for no real or valid medical reason. I have spoken to a patient advocate who has told me his rights have absolutely been violated. The hospital refused to allow me to deliver his personal items, such as clothing. We were assured he would see a doctor the day he became inpatient - approx 24 later he (to my most recent knowledge) has not yet seen a doctor. I have gotten nowhere with administration as he was not supplied with the promised passcode to provide me - I can't speak to him or his doctors. His brother tried calling him four hours ago, assured he'd receive a callback soon, and as of this writing has not yet heard back. This hospital is like a prison and I'm terrified for my son's welfare, do I have any recourse on behalf of my son?
