Windsor, CA asked in Child Custody, Domestic Violence and Family Law for California

Q: Does custody of prior children play a role in the custody of your child with that person? will i get custody?

she (the mother) has a daughter with some other guy. she doesnt have custody for reasons i do not know. She supposedly gave custody because she was intimidated by the father. i ( the father) have a son with her. she's not a druggy or an evil mother but in simple words shes not responsible. she has no drivers licence, no car, no high school diploma, a 530 credit score and lives paycheck to paycheck. she was also arrested for felony domestic violence during our relationship but she was not charged. She also has a father who is an ex-con and he is a druggy. her brother is a rapist and unfortunately her mother was not in the picture. needless to say she has issue because whats happened in her life but she not a bad person and i feel bad at time when i say i want to take my son from her but it is honestly in the best interest of my son. i am pretty much the opposite i have a healthy family in LA and i want to take my son their so he can grow up with them. I am responsible & i love my son!
