Q: my son was in a accident on his bicycle, what is the amount that the insurance company should pay?
he was on his way to school on school grounds heading to the office when he was knocked to the ground by a small truck, the bumper hit his ankle on the left side, bent his rim, badly sprained his ankle, he missed work for 4 days, could not walk for almost 2 weeks, insurance company only wants to pay $832. does this seem fair or a low amount?
A: That seems like a very low amount. The amount of damages he should be paid will depend on the relative fault for the collision, the cost of his medical treatment, lost income, any other out of pocket loss, and general damages (including pain and suffering and inconvenience), as well as any future expected treatment or impairment. He should really be represented by a personal injury attorney.

A: It is often very difficult to answer questions about value without knowing significantly more detail. I would encourage you to seek the advice of a reputable personal injury attorney and schedule a consult. The consult is almost always free, but the attorney would be in a better position to ask the right questions in order to get more facts in order to adequately answer your question. Good luck

A:
Contact an attorney immediately, that is a low offer, but value of the case is based on the medical injuries.
you have a duty as for a minor to make sure his injuries are all covered and examined fully do not rush into a settlement
could not walk for 2 weeks is important do you have photos of his injuries. Please feel free to contact us or another attorney the consult is free.
A: Seems very low. Your son should be examined by a doctor and get all needed medical treatment. If he has no medical records and no medical expenses, then his case isn't worth very much.
