Q: How to get a drug addict roommate to leave the house as quickly as possible in Ohio?
My friend is living in her aunt's house (the aunt no longer lives there) with no lease. She lives with her boyfriend and his stepdad. She has children and found a crack pipe the stepdad has been using. Since then she has tried multiple times to ask him to leave and he refuses to. He also isn't paying bills. How can she get him out of the house the quickest way? She's worried the police won't do anything since she has no proof and she has no lease and is unsure of how to evict him in this situation. She doesn't want to wait 30 days but will go through that process if she has to. She fears for her safety and her children's safety. This is in Ohio. She also wants to avoid letting her aunt know about the drugs unless absolutely necessary since she is afraid her aunt might ask everyone to leave.
