A: The short answer is: almost certainly not. When you file for bankruptcy, you are asking for legal relief from payment of your debts, including unsecured debts like your credit cards.

The credit card company will find out about your bankruptcy filing within hours, and will probably cancel your card anyway, knowing that the discharge of your debt (or payment of some amount of it) will be part of the bankruptcy process.
