Dunnellon, FL asked in Civil Litigation, Domestic Violence and Landlord - Tenant for Florida

Q: My son has been living with his g/friend for 5 yrs. He ended the relationship on 9-14, and gave her to 10-1-17 to move.

My husband and I are both retired from law enforcement and are aware of the eviction law in Florida. The problem, other than the money involved in eviction, is that the cases are usually so backlogged, the judges usually have eviction cases on their desk for up to a month before rulingand my son and his two children cannot go home with her there. She has groped my son and insisted he sleep with her, so he can't go there for clothes without someone with him for fear of her accusing him of something. My granddaughter is an honor student, homeschooled in Florida Virtual, has a job working with Arabian horses, has her own horse and can't spend time with him because of the girlfriend. She is also concerned the girlfriend or son may harm or poison her horse because the girlfriend didn't want my son to allow her to have a horse. I have even had to buy a refrigerator locker for my granddaughter because any time my husband and I, or her dad, bought her fruit, desserts, her son would eat it

A: You did not ask a question. You give a set of facts but no question.

You state you know the process so nothing to do but get to it.

Good luck.
