A: Unless she was under 18 at the time, the statute of limitations would be past. Even if the statute of limitations wasn't a problem it doesn't seem that she has had follow up treatment.

It sounds like the other issue is that there was some leaving the scene charge that she never responded to. Problem is that she would have to try to reopen it and not clear why she never responded before. She needs to do some legwork to get the original charge, then go to the court find out what happened, then having made copies of all the documents take them to a lawyer who deals with license suspensions or whatever the issue seems to be (sorry, but your question doesn't make clear what is the issue).

A: Not enough details to say for sure. If the trucking school has a record of some unresolved ticket or charge that prevents your friend from attending trucking school, then the only thing for your friend to do is determine what the charge or ticket is and get it legally resolved. Then reapply to the trucking school.

Just FYI. obtaining a CDL (Commercial Driver's License) is a heightened standard or license and they hold a driver to a higher standard than just a regular license, and events such as leaving the scene of an accident will be frowned upon greatly. Follow the advice above and hopefully it will work out.

Good luck to your friend.
