Cartersville, GA asked in Employment Law and Workers' Compensation for Georgia

Q: I have been with attorney for my workman comp case April 2017. accident 2016, no weekly benefits so far, why?

I have extreme injuries to my back and have had 3 procedures. I have had conflicting statements from many Dr's from the first day. I was put on light duty by one , no work from another, my employer did not accept the light duty, my condition got worse and I could not function. I had to retain an attorney because I did not know what to do. My claim has been accepted, more procedures but no lost wages, no weekly benefits, no 2/3 benefits, I have to move in with a friend and I can not contribute, I can not even help in the moving. I don't know what to do at this point. My attorney wants a fast settlement but I can not work. I need help. What do I do?
