While pregnant, the father of my unborn baby put his hands on me and I called the cops. He was arrested and charged with corporal injury to spouse. I currently have a restraining order on him. I’m due in a few months and am afraid he will try to get some custody or visitation with the child. What steps can I take to prevent him from getting any custody ? And will the DV charge help me win full custody of my baby?
