Q: My husband had a restraining order that I put against him, I broke it.
My question is what consequences will I get for violating that restraining order and will my daughters be taken from me I have a clean record a job .
A:
To properly evaluate any legal question a lawyer needs a thorough summary of the facts.
This involves not just your interpretation but what the other side is saying too.
If you are not clear then the lawyer will no doubt be challenged to correctly respond. It is the old adage: “Junk in, junk out”
if the restraining order was for him not for you (rather than mutual) i do not envision much happening.
A: I suggest you speak to a family law attorney. More details and info is needed.
