Durant, OK asked in Criminal Law for Oklahoma

Q: My 14 year old daughter is being wrongfully accused and charged with petty larceny which took place inside a Walmart

To my understanding my daughter two of her female friends and three male friends entered the Walmart all the kids involved stated that my daughter did nothing that she was actually the only one that did not do anything I was still called down to pick my child up when I got there to pick her up I was then informed by the last prevention person that they needed to inform me and the other parents as to why they were taking such drastic measures when their normal protocol and procedure for anyone under the age of 16 is to just release them to their parents instead of that happening my child was banned from all Walmarts in the United States she's not even allowed to step foot in the parking lot if she is she will be arrested and charged with trespassing as well as she was charged with petty larceny apparently because two of the boys in the group opened of food package item and consumed it in the store and one of the other girls opened a dollar beverage and started consuming in the store now
