Q: bought a dog from a breeder at nine weeks old and now he is deaf in his left ear. can I sue the breeder for money back?

we bought a frenchie from a breeder he had a pimple like rash, she told us it was scratches when I asked, and bloody stool. ( we fixed that ) then we took him to get tested for hearing bc we noticed he didn't respond like our other dogs. the breeder tried saying I caused it, when the puppy was ten weeks old when we found out. she won't give us money back, we asked for half bc she didn't tell us about the deafness . can we sue her in small claims court?

A: Yes I would recommend small claims for this. Make sure you look at your contract for any language that says "as-is' as that may be a problem for you. Also make sure you have a hearing test from the Vet. Here's some guidance on small claims from the state court system:
