Q: My motorcycle was stolen years ago & the insurance company denied my claim. Any suggestions for a lawyer that can help?
This occurred back in 2008, but I was active duty in the military, therefore I had a lot going on. At the time I only had liability coverage on the bike so we also filed a claim with Travelers Insurance. They did not work with us at all and denied my claim, even though it happened on my parents property and they were the policy holders. I would like to see what my legal rights are to get this debt off of my credit and not keep paying on a motorcycle I don't have. It is negatively affecting me applying for a mortgage. Any legal advice or help would be greatly appreciated.
