Q: I bought a house from auction from HOA, the house has a lien from mortgage foreclosure, Can I pay off the bank?
The forecloses mortage is against the previous owner. The deed is on my name, because i purchased the house from HOA auction.
Now, the foreclose auction is dated to may 9Th. I'm trying to pay off the amount but bank doesn't accept.,
I don't know what to do to not lose the money I paid for the Hoa Lien.
A: Try to locate the previous owner that is named on the foreclosure and somehow persuade them into assigning you their right of redemption. Hope this helps.

A: Or perhaps get the foreclosed owner to short sale you the property with the bank's approval. This would be a back door method of paying off the delinquent mortgage.

A:
Unfortunately the bank is not obligated to work with you on a payoff. However, as the owner of the property you are legally entitled to redeem the property. You probably should hire a real estate attorney in that area to assist you in get the proper payoff.
Good luck,
