Q: Dv sacramento California family law
Hello there
Just to start I wanted to let you know some of the details prior to my current situation...
I have a 5 year old who I have not seen in 2 months because his father kicked me out, leaving me homeless. And is now keeping my son from me, from what I understand he just acts like I dont exist and when my son does mention me like asks to call me, his dad says not right now and changes the subject. He filed a domestic violence case against me a few days ago. I saw the court date on the public access sites. But this domestic violence case is from months ago, he called the police after he actually abused ME and filed a report in which there was no arrest but I wasn't able to tell my side of the story as I wasn't around when the cops arrived. I'm at a point of heartbreak for my son. I feel so helpless, like I am being alienated from him just because his dad is being angry at me and using his finances to make himself look better.

if DV is criminal you need a criminal lawyer/public defender.
