Los Angeles, CA asked in Estate Planning and Probate for Arizona

Q: My uncle is the trustee on my grandma's will, she passed 3 years ago. And me and my 4 siblings have not seen any portion

My grandma had 2 properties and just found out my uncle sold both properties and got the issuance money. After my grandma passed me and my siblings live in my grandma's home with all utilities off we tried to reach out to my uncle for help, and he told us that he did not know amythin about the will. Me and my siblings got put into cps custody after she passed. We have been homeless and struggling since she passed my grandma adopted us when we were just a child. We just seen her will and it states everything should have been distributed equally between all of us. We have not seen anything and my uncle is living nice in a big home and land. What do I need to do so that me and my siblings get our portion that my grandmother has left us.

A: This is a complicated family situation and is not something that you can likely remedy on your own. I recommend that you meet with a probate attorney to review all of the facts. Once he or she knows the facts, your attorney will be able to answer your questions, advise you of your legal rights and make recommendations.
