Q: My mom sent me to live with relatives in africa and id like to return back home(america) when i turn 18. What can i do?

I was sent to The Gambia to stay with family cause my mom said i never listened to her, but that was when I was 16. Now I'm turning 18 next month and I'd like to return home but my uncle has my passport and refuses to give to me without my mothers consent. I'm not sure what will happen when i go to the US embassy next month when i don't have any ID or money of my own
