Hesperia, CA asked in Personal Injury and Products Liability for California

Q: a product i ordered off amazon pulled out two of my teeth, can i have a case to get my teeth fixed

i made sure to fallow all instructions,n no where does it say anywhere or warn you that is product can pull your teeth out, also the package states its not a denture or dental device n that u cant eat with it or chew which i did none of, but on amazon, comments from people talk about using it for many issues they are trying to fix at a good price, within five minutes of getting the product was i missing two of my teeth, they are part of my front teeth......i tried contacting the maker n the phone just rings no answering machine, just rings, n no answer, my insurance will not cover it im not in pain so its considered comedic, so ive tried applying for loans, or financing but being a housewife of 20yrs, n recently divorced, i have no credit n have been denied every time. ive reached out to amazon but a simple automatic reply is what ive got so far i cant tell you how much this is affecting me, im embarrassed to go anywhere n have to talk to someone n they see my teeth, i feel very ugly!

A: A LAWYER WOULD NEED A LOT MORE INFO.

YOU SHOULD CONTACT LOCAL NEGLIGENCE LAWYERS IN YOUR COMMUNITY.

HOWEVER, YOU MUST BE ABLE TO PROVE WHAT YOU ARE ALLEGING.

HAVE ANY MEDICAL PROVIDERS CONFIRMED WHAT YOU ARE SAYING?

A: I think you should contact the manufacturer of the product, and if they don't speak to you, find out who the manufacturer is and where they are located (i.e. find their mailing address), and write a complaint letter to them. You may have a case against the manufacturer of the product, but I don't have enough facts to make that decision. You can also try going onto a local news channel that is willing to help consumers, and see if that will force the manufacturer of the product out into the open. You can also call a local lawyer about this, but he or she will need a lot more facts than you have given. That's all I can suggest from the information that you have provided. Good Luck.

A: A lawyer would need to know exactly what this product is, and exactly how your teeth came out. He would also need to review all of your medical/dental records before and after this incident. Call some attorneys to discuss in detail.
