Q: I have 2 misdemeanors that I need to get expunged both took place in Elizabeth City, North Carolina.

Both charges occurred in

City:Elizabeth City, State:NC

I currently live in Las Vegas , Nv

#1 Offense Date: 5/7/11 ( age:19)

Conviction Date:9/29/11- POSSESS SCHEDULE VI (PRINCIPAL) MISD.CLASS 3 MISDEMEANOR SS. Was on probation but Served 10 days in jail

#2-Offense date:12/12/13 (age:21)

Conviction Date:3/31/14 (age:22) POSSESSING STOLEN GOODS (PRINCIPAL) MISD.CLASS.1 MISDEMEANOR.SS I believe I did 1 or 2 years probation but I got off probation early for good behavior and paying my fines.

Am I able to get both of these charges expunged? Or get my record sealed? Please and thank you.

We normally recommend retaining local counsel, especially in the smaller jurisdictions, because with Expunctions or Expungements in North Carolina, lawyers may have to go back-and-forth to the Clerk's Office to get things signed and filed.
