Q: mother of 16 month old the father wants to take me to court he wishes to have overnight stays can I refuse this ?

I am the primary caregiver and the father does not currently have his own home he is staying with his brother and the baby would not have his own room there's also other people living in the house which is one of the reasons I do not want the baby to spend the night is there anything that I can do to help my case so that he does not get these overnight stays

A: The father will be allowed to spend time with the child. It does not have to be overnight. The court will decide what is in the best interests of the child. You need to tell the court that the father does not have an appropriate living space for the child.
