Q: If the hotel I work at is temp. shut down do to black mold, do we the employees get compensated for our losses?

A: You would not get paid. This is really an employment and Labor law question as opposed to workers’ comp which deals with on the job injuries.

A: I agree with Stephen but I answer to add a little more to his answer. If a medical provider has put restrictions on your ability to work and your employer does not offer you employment that meets the limitations you may be entitled to benefits because you do not have to look for work from another employer.
