Q: Would any part of KRS 355 apply to private party used car sales?
I purchased a car for my daughter. Seller wasn’t truthful about the details of the car. May take it to small claims but wanted to know if any portion of KRS 355 pertains to private party sales of goods? Or does it just pertain to commercial merchants? Thanks
A: Possibly, but you would be far better off utilizing KRS 367 Consumer Protection Act, which allows you to recover damages and attorney fees for fraud.
