Q: hit and run but no injury. car totaled, what my option?

Police couldn’t locate the driver nor the car but license plates revealed thr car belongs to a lady and address in waterbury but police couldn’t make contact(don’t open the door)

My question should i sue the owner only or owner and driver

Who can help me with paper work most lawyers are looking for injuries

My insurance is liabilty

A: See if there were any intersection cameras or security cameras covering where it happened. Then if you have collision run it through that. If not, if you don't have someone to go after that's it. You may have a casualty deduction on your taxes but talk to an accountant about that.

A: You could continue to interview lawyers in your state to see if you might find one who is willing to handle the PD paperwork/claim only. A factor that could have made the lawyers you spoke with reluctant is that if the PD claim is denied and they are committed to recovery of damages, the costs of litigating could exceed their estimates of time and expenses incurred.
