Q: An employee of Victoria’s Secret yesterday told me that there was a physically imperfection with my body. Can I sue?
An article of clothing I was trying appeared to be damaged at the pocket. When I pointed this out to employee she said that the imperfection was my hip.
A:
more info need
anyone can sue anyone for anything at any time.
the issue is will you win and will the lawyer charge you on an hourly or a contingency.
in other words who is gambling.
our firm would not accept a case like this.
clearly the employee used poor judgment.
how were you damaged? did you seek medical assistance?
if you can't find a lawyer to accept the case you can always go into small claims and sue for up to $10k WITHOUT A LAWYER
A: This is not a meritorious lawsuit. You haven't been denied service, or discriminated against on the basis of any protected category. At worst, the employee offended you by either telling something that wasn't true, or telling something that was true that you didn't want to hear. It is the employee's job to assist you in finding items that flatter you the most. It would seem that whatever you had on wasn't the right selection.
