Q: My ex girlfriend refuses to remove me as an authorized user from her credit card, is this legal?

3 years ago I got into a relationship in which my ex gf decided to add me as an authorized user to her CC in order to help me build my credit, we split up January 2018, she acts like a child and won't reply to my requests to remove me as an authorized user from her account, I asked her mother if it would be possible to contact her and get that resolved as I dont want issues similar to what we've had in the past, her mother is just as ignorant and childish and they refuse to remove me as an authorized user claiming "she wont pay her credit card alone and we both utilized it", I told her to provide me statements showing me what I've spent and I'll gladly pay but they haven't gotten into contact, they refuse to remove me and won't show me evidence of the "money I supposedly spent", is it legal for her to hold me as an authorized user even though I asked her multiple times to remove me?

A: An "authorized user" is not obligated to make the payments, so what does it matter to you?
