Someone (an ex partner) wrote deragtory, defamtory information about me online in 2013 after they already did the same thing in 2009. I was told to go to my local court house to file a temporary restraining order since the statute of limitations expired for a lawsuit.
Could you recommend any other legal remedies?
A: If they leave it up it can be viewed as a continuing libel. Get an attorney to write a cease and desist letter on your behalf and also to ask the services involved to take the materials down.
