Q: Received my first citation ever officer said he clocked me at 97 in 65 limit . i was charged with speeding and reckless

I was behind 3 cars the entire way and car displayed 87 not 97 . i also have improper equipment due to my check engine light displaying my car has multiple issues with lost body control malfunction . left speed sensor malfunction and lost communication with panel cluster. Dealing with speed odometer . mechanic even said my car has electrical issues . i have court very soon , i jist started a new job and dont get paid until 2 days after my court date

A: Bite the bullet and hire a local traffic attorney. You don't need F. Lee Bailey for a traffic ticket - not even for 30+ over & C&R. So just pick the cheapest attorney out of the many solicitation letters you received and roll with that. Oh, and stop speeding! Even if your speedometer was completely broken, at 30+ over - you knew you were going too fast.
