I am being sued at age 81 quite unjustifiably.
We were being helped by a law firm but could not keep up with their exorbitant fees and costs. We tried another law firm and ran into the same dreadfully high fees ($10,000 going to $20,000 retainer and $500 plus per hour for the help of a lawyer AND $0.25 cents for each piece of paper that requires copying.
We simply and honestly do not have the funds and a response is needed for the law firm representing the prevaricators that are bringing an action against.
