A: FYI, in Florida, all fathers are legally responsible for the well-being of their own children. That means the child support you pay to your ex-wife is for the benefit of YOUR child only. It also means that any new child support your ex-wife may get from the father of her new child is for the benefit of that child only.

In other words, if your ex-wife continues on her present path and ends up having 10 children from 10 different fathers, none of the 10 fathers have any lawful reason to complain about paying child support or otherwise try to "benefit" from this shameful behavior. Advice: You need to love and support YOUR child--because they need their father's help.
