Q: My boyfriend who isn’t insured , was hit by a girl who is insured , what can happen to my boyfriend?

My boyfriend is worried because he isn’t insured and he’s scared that he’s going to get in trouble . He’s had a bad headache since then and he doesn’t have health insurance .

He should contact an attorney. There are many steps to take right away to preserve and enhance rights. Yes, not having insurance may limit what he can recover from the other side.

Also, he should get insurance right away for the future (and to deal with any citation that he was uninsured).

A: Mr. Merrick already covered the pressing fundamental issue of not having insurance. If he needs further medical care, and the other driver's insurance will not concede liability (the description mentions being hit but does not say anything about a final determination of liability), he could look into what options are available under public health care based on need. Hospital administrators are sometimes able to assist in that area. Good luck
