Q: My 16 year old daughter made out with a 21 year old AND lied and stayed at the 21 year olds apartment twice.
Are there grounds for filing a case against the 21 year old. The 21 year old also exposed her to the Pagen religion and we believe alcohol. She met this individual at work, are their any consequences to the employer?
A: (1) It is not illegal for a 21 year old and a 16 year old to make out. (2) It is not illegal to introduce people to different religions. (3) It is illegal to provide alcohol to a person under the age of 21. (4) The employer has nothing to do with it. So, if there's evidence he is supply drugs or alcohol to her, that may be something the police are interested in but the rest of it isn't going to go very far.
