Q: I Had a car accident at the beginning of the year not at fault but no insurance
hello at the beginning of the year i had an accident with this guy (50s) he was driving a tacoma in the oposoite side of the intersession to turn right i was waiting in the light to make a left the light turn yellow and i took it no cars were closed i stayed in the left line normal he made a right and tried to merged into my line an hit me on my passanger door side i was scared because i didn't had insurance so we agreed on fixing our cars each their own he knew it was he's fault 4 days later he reported to hes insurance and they send me a letter i called them i talked to one of the agents explained everything she told me they couldn't help me to fix my car and they'll fix hes. it ended at that now 2 months later they send me a text messeges saying this: we review the evidence provided is not enough for us to change liability bacuse in this case no party can prove who was a fault so we have to take our insured word so therefore you place at fault what can i do now?
A: without more info it is hard to answer.
I doubt if you will be able to prove you were not at fault.
however, if you are worried about the other driver suing you, THEN THEY have to prove YOU were at fault.
you would need a lawyers assistance and unless you had major injuries i doubt if you can find a lawyer that would be interested
