Q: Does my WA LLC need to register for a state tax ID if we won't be making any gross income?
I have registered a WA state LLC just recently, and will be working with 1 other colleague. I have also obtained a federal tax ID.
However, we won't be making any money for a while. Is it necessary to get a state tax id if we will not have any gross income? I know washington has a B&O tax, but not really sure how that applies to a start-up software company that hasn't made any money.
