Q: Do lawyers defend consumers against mechanics in a civil suit, if so I need help locating one in my area.
A know Mechanic has incompleted the repair on my vehicle with engine light on running rough, squealing belt price ouges on invoice, discovered both (2) men are not licensed or certified, damed auto body from some type of accident and more than once. This mechanic had my vehicle for a month and 11 days, then again an additional week. Put more mileage on my vehicle than what should be, added 1000 onto invoice that I never agreed upon, did not stick to our agreed price, let someone else other than who I agreed to let work on my vehicle, left my car unattended and clicking sound from keys being left in ignition. Did not receive old parts or was given an estimated list of what was being done or the prices. This mechanic efused to return my calls, text messages or answer any of my questions I had about my car. They both threatened me and have it text msg sent to my phone. They claim they both are licensed/certified only I can not pull it up on line, nor would they produce it to me when I ask
A: It doesn't sound like you're defending; you would be the plaintiff. You should look for an attorney who does consumer protection.
