Q: LEGAL ADVICE FOR CRIMINAL CASE

ALSO IN MY DISCOVERY i RECIEVED THERE IS SOMEONE ELSES CASE THAT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH ME OR MY CASE WHAT SO EVER . BUT MY NAME AND CASE NUMBER IS ON THE TOP WITH THIS OTHER CASE. ON MY FIRST MEETING WITH MY PUBLIC DEFENDER SHE STATED i NEED TO EXCEPT RESPONSIBILITY AND MAN UP AND BASICALLY TAKE THE PLEA DEAL. SHE HAS NOT OFFERED ANY DEFENSE WHATSO EVER FORME JUST A PLEA DEAL OFFER AND THAT IS IT. HAS NOT EVEN CARED TO ARGUE A DEFENSE FOR ME. PLUS MY PLUBLIC DEFENDER IS MARRIED TO MY WIFES UNCLES EX HUSBAND. WHILE IN COURT ON MORE THAN ONE OCCASION THE JUDGE HAS BROUGHT UP MY BROTHERS NAMES IN REGARDS TO ME LEAVING ME TO BELIEVE HE IS PROFILING ME.BUT DUE TO THE PANDEMIC I CANNOT AFFORD LEGAL COUNSEL AND WAS TOLD TODAY MY CASE WILL PROCEED FORWARD AT 1:30 WITHOUT A PRIVATE ATTORNEY HELP PLEASE

A: If you believe your PD has a conflict of interest, you can ask the court to remove the PDs office and appoint an attorney from the Regional Conflict Counsel office.

A: Inform the Court that you wish to have a change in counsel...there are a number of ways to do this...start by telling your Public Defender (especially before the hearing.
