A: I am so sorry for your loss.

Motor vehicles has a small estate affidavit process which will probably work for you. There is a maximum value of $75,000 to use the Affidavit. However, as a result of COVID 19, MVD is not open. There are many independent vehicle title companies throughout the valley. I recommend you find one close to your home. Call them for information on what to bring. I believe, they will be able to help you transfer the trailer.

A: If you visit https://azdot.gov/motor-vehicles/mvd-hours-and-locations you should be able to figure out how to get assistance from DMV. They are allowing some customers into the office if your transaction cannot be completed online. You may be able to use MyDMV to upload your form without having to go to the DMV office. Any trip not taken to the DMV office is a win!
