Monticello, FL asked in Child Custody and Child Support for Florida

Q: I have two child support cases against me in two different states.. The original case began in 2008 here in Florida.

I am up to date on all payments, I have no arrears, and my payments are deducted from my disability check each and every month on time. The other case is in Iowa and it was fraudulently done by my ex. What can I do to have the child support case in Iowa closed?

A: inform the Iowa court of the Florida child support order. For specifics, you should ask your question in Justia > Ask a Lawyer > Iowa.
