Q: My son has been chrgd with 2 murders. Is it norm.for the lwyers office to give me a copy of the disc. that is not redac
A:
more info needed.
a lawyer should not give a client, let alone a family member, paperwork that is not redacted.
if the two murders were not at the same time he might need another lawyer for the 2nd............that would be case specific......
i would not discuss a serious case like this on an open forum.
the DA might read it and use it against your son.
limit your questions to your son's lawyer, either private or a court-appointed....but your son has to give authority for his lawyer to talk to you let alone share info with you.
A: No, discovery files provided to clients are required to be redacted for privacy.
