I am paid up to next month and he's already selling it without my knowledge

Depends on the lease and rights conferred to you therein, but it is likely the landlord has a right to sell the property without telling you. The landlords will have to take steps to transfer your security deposit, and tell you where to send the new rent checks, however beyond that a real property sale typically it falls outside the reach of a lease.
