Q: Hi - I recently purchased a used zero turn lawn mower. The seller lied about the year of the mower in a text.
I recently purchased a used zero turn lawn mower that was listed on Facebook marketplace for $2750. The seller texted and told me that the mower was only 5 -6 years old via text which i have saved. After purchasing I reached out to the manufacturer and they told me it was 17 years old. I tried to get the seller to give me my money back as I wanted have been interested in the mower that old. But the seller has told me he won't. Is there anything I can do? Or am I out of luck?
A: Sue him for fraud. You relied on his representation which was patently false.
